How you can help

To support our services & extensive spay/neuter program, we rely on the community's generosity, and volunteers willing to donate their time.  Here are some ways you can help. If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out a Volunteer form!

Pet Adoptions

We hold Pet Adoptions on alternating Saturday afternoons at the Fayetteville & Peachtree City PETsMART stores for dogs & cats that need good, loving homes. The adoption hours are 12:00 – 4:00, but set-up begins at 11:30, and we don’t usually leave the store until 4:30 p.m. Volunteers assist prospective adopters, fill out paperwork, and tend to the critters! We ask for a commitment of one Saturday a month, and this activity is best suited for adults and older teens.

Foster Care

We are in need of foster homes for puppies and kittens. This can be a time commitment of a few days to a few months. If you would like additional information, please give us a call.

Ideas

Do you have a special talent or skill that we might be able to utilize?  Do you have fundraising ideas?   In either case, please contact us!  We would love to hear from you.  The more help we have, the more we can do for the pet population in our community.

Other Opportunities

We need volunteers for telephone work, newsletter mailings, representatives for presentations to school and community groups, and coordinators for vet visits for vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries.

If you’d like more information about any of these volunteer opportunities, please complete the form or contact us at (770) 487-1073 or email us at info@fayettehumane.org
