Kricket Est. DOB:   3/10

Kricket was rescued from a local animal shelter on the day she was scheduled to be euthanized.  After a visit to a veterinarian, we learned that Kricket was born with congenital defects in her hips and knees

Surgery would have been too expensive ($12,000) and too painful for her.  However, an alternative to surgery was stem cell therapy (using her own stem cells).  Her foster “mother”  personally raised the $800 needed for this surgery, which was completed in April.

Kricket is  doing fantastic!  She is running and playing like any other cat!  She is a very sweet and playful kitty.  She would do well as an only cat or with a “younger” cat to play with.

Kricket will need need to be on a joint supplement (over the counter) and Science Diet prescription food for life.  She is ready for her permanent, loving home.

Diego and Rainbow Est. DOB:   2/27/11

Diego

Rainbow

Diego and Rainbow are two special needs kittens.  They are especially affectionate and sweet, but they have tested positive for feline leukemia (FeLV).  They should not be adopted into a home with other cats; however, they can not transmit the virus to humans or canines.  They can lead long lives with good nutrition, regular medical care and a low stress home. Diego loves to explore and is very adventurous, Rainbow can be more hesitant at first.  They really are playful, curious and cuddly balls of fur.  Both kittens love to play and then snuggle in your arms for a nice nap.  Love purring?  Diego and Rainbow purr loudly when they are playing and cuddling.   These two would be grateful to be adopted together.  You will be rewarded with two great kitten companions.  Fill out a pre-adopt here if you are interested in being their special family.

Autumn DOB:   4/10/10
Autumn is beautiful calico cat; she is barely a year old and has already had kittens of her own. She was found emaciated in an apartment air duct with her five kittens, she not only nursed her five kittens, but two other orphaned kittens that were in her foster home. Autumn is one of our special needs kittens, she has an autoimmune problem, and essentially she has allergies. Autumn uses corn litter and needs to be kept on prescription diet Royal Canine Hypoallergenic cat food.  She is a wonderful cat; she will be a great companion and an affectionate pet.  Please consider giving this deserving young cat a home.   Fill out a pre-adopt here if you have room in your family for one more.
