Spay/Neuter facts & assistance

Did you know that Atlanta area shelters kill over 100,000 dogs and cats each year because they cannot find homes for the unwanted pets? In the USA, the figure is 8 million healthy dogs and cats killed per year, simply because no one wants them. In some counties, these animals suffer through a horrible death in the gas chamber. Only 1 in every 10 dogs and 1 in every 10 cats will find a loving home; the rest will die. In trying to do our part to help this pandemic, We offer discounted certificates for spay/neuter assistance for pets in the Fayetteville area.

Fayette Humane is in the process of applying for another spay/neuter grant for low-income families. We will still help anyone who needs assistance and pay for part of the spay/neuter bill. Call 770-487-1073 and leave a message on the spay/neuter assistance line and you will be contacted ASAP.
