September 25, 2010 - Fall Yard Sale, Pet
Adoption and American Kennel Club's Responsible Dog Ownership Day at
Tack Trolley
The giant FCHS fall yard sale will
be at the Tack Trolley in Fayetteville, (920 Hwy 85 South), between Rite
Aide and the Ultimate Fitness Gym, on September 25th from 9 a.m. to 3
p.m. If you have any items you would like to donate to the event,
please contact Kelly Vick at
KellyVick@Bellsouth.net.
Tax receipts can be provided for donations (No
clothing, please). The pet adoption will be held from 9:00
a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
In addition to our yard sale and pet
adoption, members of the
Atlanta Southside Kennel Club and their dogs will be participating in the American
Kennel Club's Responsible Dog Ownership Day
on Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at
the Tack Trolley, 920 Highway 85 South, Fayetteville, GA 30215. Come learn
about safety around dogs for children. The ASKC members participate in
many AKC events and activities. Also, come learn about activities for
dogs and the responsibilities as well as the privilege of dog ownership.
Take advantage of the opportunity to ask about care, training, and
events.
October 2,
2010 - Blessing of the Animals
This yearly event will be held
from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with the actual Blessing of the Animals
starting at 4:00. It takes place at the Gazebo on the square in
Fayetteville. We will have dogs available for adoption.
October 9,
2010 - 4th Annual Cause for Paws
Our annual fundraiser, Cause for
Paws, will be held at the Peachtree Wyndham Conference Center in
Pe
achtree City. This event is a seated dinner with silent and live
auctions.

November 13, 2010 - Additional Pet Adoption at
Tack Trolley
In addition to our regular adoption location on
this day, Tack Trolley will host FCHS pet adoptions from 12:00 p.m. to
4:00 p.m.

Pet Adoptions
The Fayette County Humane Society holds adoptions every Saturday and
Sunday at the Peachtree City PetSmart located at 2701 Highway 54, behind
Best Buy.
Saturday adoptions are held from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday
adoptions are held from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Additional adoptions occur monthly from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Tack
Trolley, 920 South Highway 85 in Fayetteville, between Rite Aid and
Ultimate Fitness Gym. The 2010 schedule is as follows: November
13th and December 18th.
